An established and highly regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Catastrophic Injury Solicitor to join their defendant personal injury team, based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a market leading team on complex, high-value matters across EL/PL and motor claims.
The Catastrophic and Serious Injury team is consistently recognised in leading legal directories and acts for a wide range of insurers and corporate clients. The work is led by experienced partners who are leaders in the field, and the team benefits from in-house research and development capabilities.
As a Defendant Catastrophic Injury Solicitor, you will:
*Manage a caseload of complex, high-value catastrophic injury claims.
*Support partners on major and high-profile cases.
*Draft pleadings, advices, and key legal documents.
*Instruct and liaise with counsel and expert witnesses.
*Advise insurer and corporate clients on strategy and case progression.
*Attend mediations, conferences and hearings as required.
*Maintain excellent standards of client care and file management.
What we are looking for:
*A Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with litigation rights, with 5+ years PQE.
*Strong background in defendant claims handling, including motor, employer’s liability and/or public liability.
*Experience assisting on complex, high-value cases within a team environment.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
