The Brand Manager, Societal Purpose, plays a pivotal role, working in collaboration with Partnerships and societal purpose teams to develop market leading, insight led, impactful creative that demonstrates the support we provides across key charity partners and our societal purpose led workstreams to drive awareness and build brand affinity and trust. Candidates for this role are expected to demonstrate a passion for brilliant creative and an understanding of how brands can create compelling campaigns to drive deeper engagement with our audience. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering effective campaigns for brands, plus knowledge of creative best practice across a variety of owned and paid media channels. They must be adept multi-taskers.


Key Responsibilities:
Creative Strategy & Brief Development – craft concise, inspiring and results driven creative briefs that spark innovative, brand- aligned ideas grounded in customer insight and business needs. Evaluate big ideas, strengthen creative, provide clear feedback and work in partnership with the marketing strategy team to approve direction / execution
Creative Development – lead the development of powerful, idea-led creative concepts and guide the translation of those ideas into multi-channel initiatives through our creative agency network (utilising internal and external partners as best appropriate). Give clear feedback and direction (ensuring full stakeholder input is considered) in order to approve good work that maintains the integrity of brilliant, high performing ideas.
Creative Performance - Ensure Marketing Insight & Effectiveness learning from campaign/activity PIRs is incorporated, where appropriate, into creative development and optimistion so that all channels are working as hard as they can.
Agency Management – manage our agency creative development output with a focus on accountability, quality and collaboration; provide clear, actionable creative critique and performance date to continuously improve output. Manage the creative budget efficiently, striving to reach objectives, ensuring that all campaigns are delivered within deadlines and budget is managed accordingly.
Brand Stewardship – safeguard brand and business integrity by ensuring all creative work aligns with brand guidelines, creative principles, performance benchmarking and business objectives. Ensuring that all marketing campaigns are delivered in a consistent and compliant manner by co-ordinating governance and operational issues, ensuring adherence to Global Standards and relevant FIMs
Stakeholder management – work in close partnership with Social & Content and Media teams to ensure creative output is consistent, channel appropriate and fully optimised through the line. And be a key partner to the Marketing Strategy and Partnerships teams to ensure all creative delivery fully meets the business requirements and together, we deliver market leading creative assets.


This Brand Manager will also have the following:
*Extensive experience of creative development (ideally in a large, matrix organisation)
*Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with channel owners and stakeholders.
*Excellent organizational skills, capable of leading multiple, concurrent projects and resources in a fast-paced environment to ensure seamless campaign integration.
*Strong reporting and data interpretation skills, with the ability to produce clear explanations for performance to both the wider team and senior leadership, ensuring campaigns meet objectives.
*Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing large budgets to support brand and business objectives.
*Effective team player and problem solver, whether working independently or collaboratively, committed to personal development and innovation in campaign delivery. Line management experience desirable.
*Ability to adapt to environments experiencing significant change, ensuring campaigns remain relevant and impactful.
*Proven track record of achieving targets and meeting expectations while supporting and encouraging others to do the same, ensuring campaigns meet the brief.
