Job Description:
Paraplanner – Hybrid | Nottingham
Up to £47k
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Paraplanner to join a dynamic Paraplanning team. This role is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in delivering an outstanding client experience and shaping meaningful financial futures.
Working closely with fellow Paraplanners, Client Executives, and Financial Planners, you will help craft bespoke financial planning solutions that truly align with clients’ goals and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
*Produce compliant, high-quality suitability reports and letters, ensuring accuracy and technical precision.
*Collaborate with Financial Planners to clarify client objectives and propose tailored recommendations.
*Conduct in-depth research and analysis, including cashflow modelling where required.
*Prepare tax calculations, financial plans, and technical documentation for both annual reviews and new advice.
*Liaise with external providers to gather information on existing and prospective investments.
*Support client review meetings and help cultivate strong, positive client relationships.
*Prepare and maintain compliant client files throughout the advice journey.
*Adhere to FCA principles, demonstrating integrity and a meticulous approach to regulation.
*Share knowledge, undertake peer reviews, and assist colleagues with complex cases.
*Commit to ongoing professional development and maintenance of technical and product knowledge.
About You
To thrive in this position, you will bring:
*Strong paraplanning experience and a minimum of Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
*A sound understanding of financial products, FCA rules, and regulatory standards.
*Excellent writing skills and the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate documents.
*Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Word and Excel) and confidence using a range of provider platforms.
*A methodical and organised working style, with the ability to manage your workload autonomously.
*Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach to delivering great client outcomes.
*A passion for sharing knowledge, problem-solving, and supporting the development of others.
