Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-regulated environment. You’ll play a key part in supporting production, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement across processes, products, and performance measures. The role combines hands-on shopfloor support with responsibility for delivering NPI projects, optimising methods of manufacture, and introducing new technologies and equipment.As a Manufacturing Engineer you will: * Develop and improve manufacturing methods to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
* Lead and support NPI and CI projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.
* Create and maintain process documentation, routings, and BOMs within ERP systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver customer requirements.
* Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process capability improvements.
* Support tool/fixture introduction and CAPEX projects from concept through to implementation.
* Explore and introduce new technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
What we are looking to see from your experience as a Manufacturing Engineer: * Experience in at least two areas: CNC machining, sheet metal forming, welding, heat treatment, EDM, or general assembly/fabrication.
* HNC or above in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
* Background in a high-regulated sector (aerospace preferred) with knowledge of FAIR, PPAP, and AS9100.
* Strong project management and problem-solving skills (PFMEA, RCA, 8D, 5 Whys).
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality tools.
* Confident in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
