Reed Education are looking for QTS Secondary teachers in Reading and the surrounding areas to help support in a range of schools from Janury 2026.
Due to the increased needed in schools for supply staff, Reed are recruiting teachers who are seeking a flexible role where they can support schools either on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis. This can range from pre-planned daily supply work, weekly roles covering a short-term absence or longer roles requiring planning and preparation work. Holding Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this post, and work can be within your subject specialism area or general cover.
Role information:
*Location- Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire and surrounding areas.
*Position- Supply Teacher.
*Start date- ASAP (September).
*Working days- flexible to fit in with your home or family lives. This can be a full or part time role, working anywhere between one and five days per week.
*Working hours- approximately 8.30am to 3.30pm (some schools may vary).
*Rate of pay- £130 plus!
To be eligible for this post, you must:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK and be based in Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire or the surrounding areas.
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
*Have experience working within the UK classroom with students aged between 11 and 18 years old.
*Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service, or be willing to undertake a new certificate application (this can be done through Reed).
*Be able to provide appropriate references to cover the past two years of employment.
