Office Support Administrator, Thirsk, £28K, Temporary Contract
Salary: £28,000, hourly rate £13.46
Position Type: Temporary with a view to go permanent
Location: Thirsk
Our client based in Thirsk is looking for an Operations Administrator to provide support with all operational functions. You will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
Based on reception you will be the first point of contact playing a crucial role in a busy and fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform general office administration and reception duties
*Raise sundry purchase orders and monitor staff time & attendance, holiday booking and tracking
*Work with the supply chain team to plan and schedule production process orders
*Monitor stock levels on SAP and in warehouse locations
*Create and manage distribution orders for customers and logistics
*Monitor and maintain health, safety, environmental, and Quality lead indicators
*Maintain staff training records
*Conduct site inductions
Skills Required:
*Strong Microsoft Office and SAP experience.
*Previous administrative or purchasing experience required.
*Must be customer-focused and able to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
*Excellent time management and organizational skills.
*Confident communication, both written and verbal.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Manufacturing environment experience beneficial
*Must maintain confidentiality.
*Must be proactive, self-motivated, and have strong interpersonal skills.
*Demonstrates ability to plan and organise effectively.
*Strong computer skills, including accurate data entry.
