Description
*Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with company policies and regulations.
*Support the annual Group audit, responding to auditor queries.
*Prepare Group consolidation adjustments and consolidated balance sheets.
*Prepare year-end statutory accounts for UK entities and support consolidated accounts.
*Provide support on IFRS matters, including IFRS 16 leases.
*Assist with cost accounting and forecasting alongside the Finance Business Partner.
*Perform internal audit work to ensure strong balance sheet controls.
*Support ad-hoc projects for the Group Reporting Director and CFO.
Profile
A successful Reporting Accountant should have:
*A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g. ACA, ACCA).
*Strong audit experience, ideally Big 4 trained.
*Proven experience preparing or auditing IFRS financial statements.
*Detailed knowledge of IFRS 16.
*Strong Excel and technical accounting skills.
*Comfortable in a multinational environment, liaising with auditors and advisors.
*Hands-on, proactive, resilient, and detail-focused.
