What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll become a true business partner to your clients. Your responsibilities will include:
*Building strong client relationships through professionalism, clear communication, and expert advice.
*Advising on tax planning and business strategy, and supporting ad-hoc projects.
*Preparing financial and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
*Guiding and reviewing junior team members’ work, helping them grow professionally.
*Managing budgets and time reporting, keeping projects on track and profitable.
*Collaborating on firm-wide goals, contributing to growth and operational strategy.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
*Part AAT/ACCA qualification (or equivalent experience).
*Previous experience in an accountancy firm, working to UK regulations.
*Strong knowledge of FRS 102a and FRS 105, and experience preparing company accounts and tax computations.
*Expertise across corporate, personal, VAT, and income tax.
*Familiarity with cloud-based accounting tools like Xero and TaxCalc.
*Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to mentor others.
