Milk Education delighted to be working on behalf of a friendly and nurturing primary school in North Tyneside to recruit a Nursery Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring individual who is passionate about supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and helping them develop strong foundations for learning.
The Role: * Supporting the class teacher within a Nursery setting

* Assisting with daily routines, play-based learning and structured activities

* Providing small-group and 1:1 support to pupils as required

* Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development

* Helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

* Carrying out general Nursery TA duties in line with EYFS expectations

The Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience working in a Nursery or EYFS setting

* A good understanding of the EYFS framework

* A caring, patient and proactive approach

* Ability to support children with a range of needs, including some additional or SEN needs

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
