Job Description:
Office Manager
*Annual Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
*Location: Abingdon (Just Outside)
*Job Type: Full-time, On-site
Join a long-established, international technology business that specialises in advanced environmental and contamination monitoring solutions. With ongoing expansion and increased demand for their innovative technology, this is an exciting time to join the company in a key operational role as an Office Manager.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Office & Facilities Management:
*Manage front-of-house duties, greeting visitors and handling calls professionally.
*Maintain office supplies, equipment, vendor relationships, and facilities needs.
*Support shipping logistics, including FedEx collections and deliveries.
*Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems.
* Administrative & Leadership Support:
*Provide administrative support to local leadership.
*Coordinate meetings, agendas, minute-taking, travel arrangements, and internal communications.
*Support employee events and assist with onboarding new starters.
* Finance & HR Support:
*Perform light accounting tasks such as invoicing, PO creation, payment tracking, and basic bookkeeping.
*Input RMA invoicing via internal service management software.
*Support payroll and commissions processing with HR and Accounting teams.
*Ensure accurate documentation flows to central Finance and HR functions.
* Process & Compliance:
*Support ISO documentation handover and contribute to ongoing quality processes.
*Assist in developing and improving office workflows and operational processes.
*Ensure safety and compliance procedures are consistently followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Highly organised and detail-focused.
*Able to work independently with confidence.
*Comfortable operating within a matrix structure.
*A proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys a varied workload.
*Strong communication and customer service skills.
*Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Xero or Salesforce is advantageous.
