Job Description:
Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
*Up to £40k
*Office based
*Chelmsford
Our client is a market leading firm with an excellent reputation within the industry. They have multiple offices across England & Wales, and are currently looking for a Residential Property Solicitor to join their conveyancing team in their Chelmsford office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual to further their career in property law.
Duties
*Handling the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, right to buy and help to buy schemes and more, from inception to completion
*Providing a positive contribution to the work of the department
*Conducting matters on behalf of clients and maintaining strong relationships
*Management of support staff, including supervision of own secretary
*Complying with company policy
*Participating in marketing activities on a firm wide, departmental or office basis
*Supporting the business in achieving the expected targets in the given timescales
*Be a knowledge base for any conveyancing questions
You
*You must have a minimum of 2 years’ PQE experience running a mixed caseload of residential conveyancing matters
*Comfortable dealing with a caseload of 60 files or more
*Outstanding knowledge of residential property law
*Ability to work with minimal supervision
*Excellent IT and communication skills
*Enthusiasm for the industry
*Proactive and self-motivated
