Senior R&D Consultant
The Company:
Our client are specialists in Research & Development (R&D). We have extensive experience and expertise in this field and assist businesses with the entire process of claiming the Government’s HMRC R&D Tax Credits/Refunds.
This valuable source of funds helps companies to grow, continue to innovate and invest in R&D. We work closely with our clients to identify R&D projects and the subsequent associated qualifying activity.

Key Responsibilities:
*Our client works with businesses from almost all sectors to identify their qualifying R&D incentives and reliefs for them. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*You will be required to use your knowledge and experience to help clients to make claims for R&D Tax relief.
*Advising clients on the application of R&D legislation and extracting potential costs to be claimed.
*Responsible for analysing the costs attributed to clients’ R&D and ensuring that technical compliance is in line with HMRC legislation.
*Develop claim methodologies and prepare R&D Tax Relief Claims for submission to HMRC.
*Preparing R&D documentation for non-tax specialists.


Key Skills and Qualifications
*Tax qualification ideal but not essential
*Detailed working knowledge of R&D tax legislation and experience in preparing R&D calculations (3 years minimum)
*Experience conducting Tax computations and filing CT600’s.
*Excellent report writing skills and experience of preparing reports for non-tax specialists.
*Strong IT skills and Finance systems knowledge.
*Team working skills with the ability to collaborate with others
*Ability to gather and collate information using appropriate questioning techniques.
*Methodical and systematic approach to problem solving.
*Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients and internal departments at all levels in a professional and technically competent manner.
*Excellent time management skills with the ability to work at pace and under pressure.
