Job Title: Workshop Maintenance Operative
Location: Hucknall
Pay Rate: Up to £14.50 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday - Days
The Company
An engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of products for the construction sector. They are looking to recruit a Workshop Maintenance Operative to support the repair and upkeep of equipment used within the fabrication environment.
The Role
This is a hands-on workshop-based role focused on maintaining and repairing fabrication tools and equipment. Duties include:
*Fault finding and repairing fabrication equipment such as welding torches, grinders and general fabrication tools
*Carrying out basic electrical tasks, including changing plug sockets
*Working with wiring as required
*Liaising with shop floor staff to identify repair requirements
*Heavy lifting and physical work within the workshop
*Manual handling carried out in a safe manner
*Working from own initiative to complete tasks
About You
*Experience in maintenance repair
*Confident carrying out basic electrical work
*Hands-on and practical approach
*Experience fault finding and resolving mechanical issues
