We have been retained by ES Group as they look to hire a high calibre Group Accountant who can be based anywhere in the UK.

The Role – Newly Created & High-Impact

Reporting to the Senior Group Accountant (and indirectly to the Group Head of Accounting, Tax & Treasury), this is a genuinely varied role touching every part of group finance in a rapidly evolving business. You’ll get exposure to consolidation, statutory reporting, tax, treasury and ad-hoc FP&A projects.

Key Areas:
*Month-end consolidation and reporting in Tagetik
*Intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
*UK Holdco reporting (QuickBooks) and statutory accounts
*UK VAT returns, corporation tax support and transfer pricing
*Cash-flow forecasting, banking (CITI portal) and insurance renewals
*Driving process improvements across a multi-country group
*Supporting year-end audit and budget/forecast cycles

What You Bring
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent)
*Strong IFRS knowledge and excellent Excel skills
*Consolidation experience (Tagetik or similar a bonus)
*First-class attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
*Fluent English (Spanish is a nice-to-have)
*A proactive, can-do attitude and enjoyment of continuous improvement
*Excellent Excel skills
