Senior Lead Claims Adjuster – Aviation, Marine & Energy


About the Role
I am looking for an experienced Senior Lead Claims Adjuster to take ownership of some of the most complex and high-value global reinsurance claims. This is a chance to work at the heart of the Aviation and Marine & Energy markets, managing high-profile Treaty Claims and ensuring settlements that balance customer needs with sound business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead on complex Aviation and Marine & Energy losses
*Manage a diverse portfolio of Treaty Claims, working with brokers and cedants
*Provide expert guidance on contractual and legal issues to Underwriters
*Contribute to audits and reviews to support underwriting and actuarial functions
*Build strong client and broker relationships, delivering superior customer service
*Mentor and coach junior claims staff, sharing your technical expertise
*Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Underwriters, Actuarial, and Legal teams
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience handling senior-level reinsurance claims
*Strong technical expertise in Aviation, Marine & Energy, or similar complex lines
*In-depth knowledge of insurance regulation, legislation, and market practice
*Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
*A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to influence strategy
*University degree or equivalent industry qualification (preferred but not essential)
