My client is a specialist in business-to-business publishing, is seeking an Advertising Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing advertising sales for our renowned titles, Bulk Distributor and EuroBulkSystems, and offers a fantastic opportunity for career advancement in a growing sector.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Sell display advertising primarily for print, with increasing focus on online platforms such as websites and newsletters.
*Build and develop relationships with existing and potential clients, both locally and internationally.
*Represent the company at the highest standard and attend trade shows in Europe and potentially other locations.
*Meet and exceed sales targets through effective planning and execution.
*Conduct accurate sales forecasting and ongoing competitor analysis.
*Work closely with the editorial team to align sales strategies with content.
*Prepare and present sales proposals and manage your accounts with an entrepreneurial approach.
*Regularly perform web research and update client information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven track record in advertising sales, with a strong focus on print and digital media.
*Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
*A minimum of A-level education, with a preference for degree-level qualifications.
*Strong new business skills and a tenacious approach to client relationship management.
*Ability to travel for business, including to international trade shows.
*Proficiency in managing time effectively and meeting set targets.
*Entrepreneurial personality with a keen attention to detail.
