This Management Accountant role supports the delivery of accurate, timely
management accounts while providing insight to aid business decision-making.
You’ll work closely with senior finance leaders, mentoring others and improving
processes in a well-controlled finance environment.

Description
*Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
*Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
*Support the Management Accounts Manager with month-end delivery
*Produce accurate management accounts to strict deadlines
*Analyse and explain variances against budgets and forecasts
*Present monthly financial insights to senior management
*Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register
*Support budgeting, VAT returns, and ONS submissions
*Identify risks, opportunities, and potential cost savings
*Mentor team members and support their development
*Maintain and improve finance systems and controls
*Provide P&L support to non-finance stakeholders
*Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required
Profile
*Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets
*Advanced Excel capability
*Confident communicator with strong written skills
*Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement
*Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards
*Comfortable working with financial systems (e.g. Sun, Coupa, SIS)
Job Offer
*A competitive salary ranging from £36,000 to £45,000 per annum.
