Experienced Accounts Assistant – Temp to Perm

?? Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We have an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity for a skilled finance professional to join a growing team in Bury St Edmunds.
Key Responsibilities
*Raising sales invoices and managing credit control
*Handling customer and supplier queries
*Coding and entering supplier invoices, ensuring correct authorisation
*Preparing payment runs and reconciling credit/debit cards (UK & US) and petty cash
*Managing customer statements and monitoring finance emails
*Supporting staff expenses, filing finance documents and contracts
*Matching expenses to projects (launches, conferences, etc.)
*Assisting with audits and ad hoc finance tasks
*Matching payments and receipts
*Providing holiday cover for other finance team members

Requirements
*Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance roles
*Strong knowledge of accounting systems and creditors
*Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel
*Excellent time management and attention to detail
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
*Experience supervising or training team members
*Full UK driving licence (due to office location)
