Job Description:
Project Support Officer (Planner)
London / Birmingham (Hybrid – 3 days on site)
12-Month Contract
Proven experience in carve-out or M&A programmes for a multi-site organisation is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling
*Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using MS Project or equivalent tools.
*Align schedules across multiple workstreams, identifying dependencies and critical paths.
*Regularly update schedules to reflect progress, approved changes, and variations.
Monitoring & Reporting
*Track progress against baseline plans, highlight variances, and propose recovery actions.
*Prepare schedule performance reports (milestone status, slippage analysis, forecast).
*Support governance forums with accurate scheduling data and insights.
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in a project support role within a large, Separation, or carve-out programme (ideally in a PE or regulated environment).
*Experience supporting projects involving system separation, data migration, or large-scale technology change.
*Demonstrable experience supporting robust governance, reporting, and stakeholder management processes.
*Exposure to technology-enabled change, including infrastructure, applications, and service transition.
*Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including third-party suppliers, system integrators, and senior executives.
*Willingness and ability to work in the office (London/Birmingham) at least three days per week, with flexibility to support key programme events as required.
