Job Description:
We are currently working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Burton upon Trent to support them in recruiting a Customer Accounts Executive. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries and overseeing the full customer order process from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Sales Administration or Customer Service role and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will be organised, able to prioritise your workload effectively, and confident using IT systems. Strong Excel skills would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing customer orders using the in-house management system
*Liaising with customers regarding deliveries and order scheduling
*Maintaining and updating customer stock sheets
*Arranging call-offs from stock
*Communicating with the Production team and Account Managers
*Managing projects such as rebrands and new product launches, tracking progress from start to completion
*Attending occasional face-to-face meetings with customers
*Generating purchase orders for outsourced work
*Completing general filing and administrative tasks within the department
Skills and Experience Required
*Excellent customer service skills
*Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
*Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
*Essential numeracy skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*High level of attention to detail
*Ability to learn technical product information
*Ability to manage own workload and customer accounts
*Team player willing to support and cover other Account Executives when required
*Ability to follow instructions and established processes
*Computer literate with good experience using Excel
