Social Media Coordinator
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £44k, depending on experience
My client, a global Manchester based Charity is looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Coordinator to join their (Digital) Communications team, to help amplify their voice across digital platforms within the Charity.
The Role
As the Social Media Coordinator, you will work closely with the Digital Communications Director to shape and deliver the social media strategy. Your mission is to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and boost conversions across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Snapchat.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and execute organic and paid social media campaigns to grow reach, engagement, and conversions.
*Manage daily activity across all social channels, ensuring consistent messaging and quality content.
*Build and nurture online communities, engaging donors, volunteers, influencers, and media.
*Monitor trends and analytics to optimize campaigns and report on performance against KPIs.
*Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling content and landing pages.
*Lead influencer outreach and strategic partnerships to amplify earned media.
*Manage paid advertising campaigns, focusing on ROAS and performance targets.
*Protect and enhance the charity’s reputation through proactive and reactive social media management.
*Provide insights and recommendations to improve strategy and stay ahead of industry trends.
What We’re Looking For
*Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar social media marketing role
*Experience in delivering and optimising organic and paid social campaigns
*Extensive experience in multi-channel social advertising
*Knowledge of advertising platforms on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat etc
*Proven experience of writing social media communications and content creation within brand guidelines
*Previous experience in the charity sector is desirable
*Experience in managing blogger/influencer projects and social CRM systems
*Strong understanding of analytics, reporting, and ROI optimization.
*Excellent communication and content creation skills.
*Ability to manage multiple platforms and campaigns simultaneously.
*Experience with tools like Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and social listening platforms.
*Creative thinker with a passion for charity work
