Assembly Operative
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join our well-established client based in Desford, Leicestershire.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering room to grow and progress.
Shifts:
• Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm & Friday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Rates of Pay:
• £12.21 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as an Assembly Operative will be:
• Carry out acrylic gluing or syringe gluing of components
• Bend components using heat or line bending methods
• Read and interpret technical drawings to create required items
• Support the project team in creating assembly work instructions
• Complete general tasks as directed by Team Leaders
• Maintain safe operations by following all safety procedures and regulations
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be an Assembly Operative are:
• Experience using syringe glue or hot glue guns
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Experience with heat bending or line bending
• Experience in acrylic fabrication
Training:
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
