Year 6 Teacher
Location: Lancaster, Lancashire
Start Date: February 2026
Contract: Full-time
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced primary teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? Veritas Education is seeking a KS2 to join a welcoming primary school in Lancaster.
This role will begin February 2026 and will cover a maternity leave.
About the Role *Delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
*Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil achievement.
Requirements *Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*KS2 teaching experience is highly desired.
*Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and proven experience preparing pupils for SATs.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
