Teacher of Religious Education Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time / Part-time considered
The Role We are seeking a dedicated and reflective Teacher of Religious Education to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in the Corby area. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner who is passionate about developing students’ understanding of religion, belief, ethics, and values in a diverse society.
You will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate.
Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons in line with the agreed syllabus

* Develop students’ knowledge of world religions, philosophy, and ethics

* Promote respectful discussion, critical thinking, and reflection

* Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress to inform teaching and intervention

* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils

* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement

* Contribute to the ongoing development of the RE curriculum

The Ideal Candidate * Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential

* Has strong subject knowledge in Religious Education

* Is committed to inclusive education and promoting tolerance and respect

* Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management

* Works collaboratively and positively as part of a team

* Suitable for both experienced teachers and those recently qualified
