Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or someone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 basis? Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a welcoming primary and secondary school in Sefton looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant.
This role involves providing tailored, consistent support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them access learning, manage emotions, and feel confident within the school environment.
The role will involve:
* Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN (ASD, SEMH, ADHD, or related needs)

* Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional regulation throughout the school day

* Implementing behaviour and support strategies set by the SENCO and class teacher

* Building a positive, trusting relationship with the pupil

* Supporting inclusion within the classroom and wider school setting

This role is ideal for:
* Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants

* Psychology, education, or childcare graduates

* Candidates with experience supporting SEN on a 1:1 basis

* Patient, resilient, and nurturing individuals who enjoy making a real impact
