Owen Reed is recruiting a Family Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join a growing and supportive Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload and has mandatory court experience, working within a fully office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a varied family law caseload, including private and legal aid matters.
*Handle divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and domestic abuse applications.
*Prepare for and attend court hearings, including bundles, statements and advocacy where appropriate.
*Draft high-quality legal documents, correspondence and applications.
*Provide clear, practical and sensitive legal advice to clients.
*Liaise with courts, barristers, clients and other professionals.
*Maintain accurate files and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
Requirements
*Qualified Solicitor with minimum 1 year PQE in Family Law.
*Court experience is essential.
*Strong understanding of family law procedures and court rules.
*Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
*Excellent communication and client-care skills.
*Willing to work five days per week in the office.

*Empathetic and professional approach to client matters.
*Organised, proactive and detail-focused.
*Additional language skills beneficial but not essential.
