Credit Control Manager | Liverpool | £45,000-55,000
We are working with a reputable business based on the outskirts of Liverpool to recruit a Credit Control Manager to join an established team, overseeing two credit controllers.
As Credit Control Manager, you will:
*Be responsible for managing a small team and take accountability for their development
*Manage and negotiate company credit insurance policy
*Assess and approve credit risks
*Develop and implement policies
*Monitor overdue accounts, follow up on unpaid invoices and work with internal and external personnel to resolve issues
*Work closely with the sales and finance teams to align credit practices and business goals
*Prepare detailed reports on credit activity, bad debts and risk exposure
*Deal with ad hoc tasks as and when they arise
You must have:
*Proven experience in a credit management role, ideally within a fast paced or changing environment
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to build solid relationships
*A proactive mindset and strong work ethic
*Strong proficiency in Excel
*Excellent attention to detail
