Contract Role – BA/Business Analyst (Data-Focused) (Banking) – Manchester/Northampton/Glasgow/Hybrid – 12 months initial – Inside IR35


We are seeking an experienced Data-Focused Business Analyst to join a banking programme, supporting data-driven initiatives across complex systems and stakeholders. The role will focus on understanding business requirements, analysing data, and translating insights into clear, actionable outputs for technology and delivery teams.


Role Overview:
*Job Title: BA/Business Analyst (Data-Focused) (Banking)
*Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week (Manchester / Northampton / Glasgow), preferred location: Manchester
*Contract Type: Contract
*Duration: 12 months initial
*Rate: £420 per day (Inside IR35)
*Sector: Banking


Key Skills & Experience
*Strong experience as a Business Analyst within banking or financial services
*Solid data analysis skills, including working with large datasets
*Experience producing data-focused documentation (e.g. data models, mappings, lineage, impact analysis)
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
*Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
*Comfortable working across multiple teams and locations
Nice to Have
*Experience with regulatory or risk-related data initiatives
*Familiarity with SQL, data warehouses, or reporting tools (not essential)


Location & Working Pattern
*Hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite per week in Manchester, Northampton or Glasgow, preferred location: Manchester
