Year 3 Class Teacher Primary School
Location: Burnley
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS)
Veritas Education are proud to be exclusively managing the recruitment of a Year 3 Class Teacher on behalf of a well-regarded and welcoming primary school in Burnley.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school, playing a key role in pupils’ transition into Key Stage 2. The role is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers, with salary offered on the Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale, depending on experience.
The Role: * Full-time Year 3 Class Teacher
* Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Using assessment effectively to inform planning and drive progress
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
The Ideal Candidate: * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience teaching Year 3 or Key Stage 2 (including training placements)
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and strong classroom practice
* Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
