Veritas Education is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hackney. This is a general SEN TA role, supporting pupils across the classroom, with some 1:1 support required where needed.
The school is looking for a confident and capable SEN TA who can adapt to different needs and work proactively to support pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs.
The Role: * Supporting pupils with SEN across the classroom

* Providing targeted 1:1 support when required

* Assisting the class teacher with differentiation and engagement

* Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD and other additional needs

* Helping to maintain a calm, inclusive and structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)

* Confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs

* Strong behaviour management and positive reinforcement strategies

* Flexible, patient and proactive approach

* Able to work effectively as part of a team
