Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Assistant to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Oxford. This is an ideal opportunity for aspiring professionals in fields such as educational psychology, counselling, SEN teaching, or social work.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will be supporting children dealing with trauma, anxiety, and behavioural difficulties, helping them develop strategies to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Your Role as a Mental Health Assistant: * Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs
* Implement behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
* Build trust and provide consistent emotional support
* Create a calm, safe, and structured learning environment
