Role Overview:
This role is ideal for an experienced pensions professional who wants to lead the delivery of high-quality trustee, governance and pensions management services across a portfolio of DB, DC and hybrid schemes. You will act as the principal point of contact for clients, supporting trustee boards with scheme governance, compliance and strategic projects, while also contributing to business development and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
*Act as the principal point of contact for a portfolio of pension schemes, delivering trustee, governance and secretarial services.
*Lead governance, secretarial and project work including adviser reviews, de-risking projects and governance reviews.
*Oversee day-to-day scheme operations including meeting preparation, agendas, minutes, action tracking and adviser management.
*Ensure schemes comply with governing documents and statutory and regulatory requirements.
*Analyse scheme budgets, oversee administration performance and manage tender processes where required.
*Build strong relationships with trustees, sponsors and advisers, acting as a trusted expert and adviser.
*Supervise and support junior team members, delegating work effectively and contributing to training and development.
*Support business development activity including RFPs, pitches, networking and raising Vidett’s market profile.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Strong technical knowledge of DB, DC and hybrid pension schemes.
*Proven experience in trustee, governance, pensions management or scheme secretarial roles.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including leading trustee meetings.
*Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and commercial awareness.
*Experience working with third-party administrators or in-house pension schemes is desirable.
*Able to get to either Manchester, Birmingham or Reading
