Role Overview:
This role is ideal for an experienced pensions professional who wants to provide high-quality governance and risk management support to a range of DB and DC schemes. You will work closely with trustee boards and clients, ensuring robust governance frameworks, effective risk oversight, and regulatory compliance, while contributing to strategic advisory work and client projects.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver governance and risk management projects for a portfolio of DB and DC pension schemes.
*Support clients on governance and risk issues, acting as a trusted adviser and helping them address challenges.
*Manage small teams when leading client projects and contribute to wider business initiatives.
*Conduct governance reviews, policy development, trustee effectiveness assessments, and risk register analysis.
*Ensure regulatory compliance, provide accurate reporting, and maintain high-quality client communications.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with trustees, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Proven experience in pensions governance, risk management, or scheme advisory roles.
*Strong knowledge of DB and/or DC pensions, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engaging with trustee boards.
*Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
*Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide practical, insight-driven solutions.
