Job Description:
HGV Class 2 Driver ADR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and prpgression.
Shifts: Monday to Friday 6:00am starts
Rates of pay: £17.00 per hour.

Day-to-day duties: As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Safely transport goods to client sites
*Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
*Performing pre-trip and post trip vehicle checks
*Adhering to to traffic laws and company procedures
*Communicating effectively with the transport office
*Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly
Essential skills: To be successful as a Class 2 Driver, you will need:
* A valid UK Category C licence
* A minimum of 24 month’s experience driving Category C ADR vehicles
*In date ADR license required
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
* A valid UK CPC card and Digi card
* Good spoken and written English
* Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
* A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
Desirable experience:
* Previous commercial driving experience
* Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training:
* A one-day paid induction for successful candidates
