Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Wellingborough / Rushden, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time (term-time only)

We are seeking to appoint a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in the Wellingborough/Rushden area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a future career in teaching or education, or for an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a full-time role.
The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task and follow the work set.
Key responsibilities include: * Supervising classes across a range of subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4

* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

* Ensuring a positive, safe, and productive learning environment

* Providing feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour

* Supporting the wider school community as required

The successful candidate will: * Have experience working with young people (education experience desirable)

* Be confident managing classroom behaviour

* Have strong communication and organisational skills

* Be flexible, proactive, and professional

* Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
