A forward-thinking SEN and SEMH school in Wokingham is looking for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to support pupils with mental health needs, emotional regulation difficulties, and additional learning needs. This role is perfect for those seeking practical experience before pursuing careers in psychology, counselling, or mental health services.
You will support children and young people, many of whom experience anxiety, trauma, ADHD, or Autism.
Role Overview:
*Position:Mental Health Teaching Assistant
*Location: Wokingham
*Daily Rate: £89-£100
*Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
*Start Date: ASAP
The Mental Health Teaching Assistant Role Will Involve:
*Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
*Providing 1:1 and small group mental health support
*Encouraging engagement and confidence in learning
*Working alongside Teachers, Therapists, and SEN staff
