A supportive SEN and SEMH school in Reading is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to work closely with pupils who experience behavioural, emotional, and social challenges. This full-time role is ideal for graduates or individuals aspiring to work in psychology, youth work, education, or mental health services.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support students with needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, trauma, and attachment difficulties, helping them manage behaviour and access learning in a positive way.
Key Information:
*Role:Behaviour Mentor
*Location: Reading
*Pay: £89-£100 per day
*Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
*Start Date: ASAP
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
*Supporting students to regulate emotions and behaviours
*Implementing behaviour support and de-escalation strategies
*Working 1:1 and in small groups
*Collaborating with Teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
