Primary Cover Teacher
Location: Peterborough and surrounding areas
Salary: £150-£160 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible day-to-day supply / short-term / long-term opportunities
Are you looking for flexible teaching work? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Primary Cover Teachers to work across a range of local primary schools in Peterborough and surrounding areas, covering both short-term and long-term absences. This role is available for an immediate start.
About the Role
*Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
*Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
*Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
*Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the school day
*Provide feedback to class teachers at the end of the day
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
*Holds QTS (or has strong primary teaching experience)
*Is confident teaching across the primary age range
*Is adaptable, reliable, and well organised
*Has strong classroom management skills
*Enjoys working in a variety of primary school settings
