A fast-growing, Chartered and independent financial services firm based in Harrogate is seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional, client-focused business supporting Chartered Financial Planners and working with a varied client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, families, corporate entities and trusts.
The Role
As an IFA Administrator, you will work within a small, dedicated team supporting a select number of Chartered Financial Planners, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Arranging and managing annual client reviews
*Scheduling meetings with prospective clients and managing Letters of Authority
*Gathering and summarising policy information
*Compiling illustrations and supporting documents for suitability reports
*Processing new business, fund switches, withdrawals and transfers, liaising with clients and providers throughout
*Maintaining accurate records and workflows on the back-office system
*Assisting with overflow calls and providing reception cover when required
Requirements
*Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar IFA administration or client management role
*Strong understanding of financial products and FCA regulations
*Experience using iO or similar back-office systems preferred
*Exposure to platforms such as Quilter, Abrdn, Fidelity, Scottish Widows or Aegon advantageous but not essential
*Excellent keyboard skills and a confident, professional telephone manner
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
