You may work with small groups or provide 1:1 support where required, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment. Your role will be vital in encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a love of learning from an early age.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience working with young children, ideally within a primary school. You should have a caring, patient, and proactive approach, with a strong understanding of child development. Confidence in supporting children of varying abilities, including those with additional needs, is important. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a genuine passion for education will help you thrive in this rewarding position.
