Job Description:
Your new school
This school in Newcastle-under-Lyme is looking for a full-time teacher of MFL, French or German in particular. Due to the shortage of MFL teachers at present, the school would be more than happy to take somebody on who can either do French or German to both KS3 and KS4 level. The timetable will be changed to suit the candidates’ strongest area. This school is a good school, where its morals and values are high. They strive to promote a happy school where the pupils enjoy coming and where the teachers enjoy teaching.
Your new role
This role will commence from February half-term 2026, and it will run for the full academic year. The role is full-time and will be required to plan, prepare and mark pupils’ work, in addition to attending staff meetings and parents’ evenings.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed, you will need to hold QTS in the UK. MFL specialism is essential, despite the subject being flexible between French and German. Both fully qualified and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will be joining a forward-thinking school with a solid senior leadership team. You will feel valued and will play a vital role in your team.
