SEN Teaching Assistant
Alternate SEN Primary Provision - Chertsey, Surrey
Start Date: January
Day Rate: £95-£115 (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a newly opened Alternate SEN Primary Provision in Chertsey, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fresh, nurturing setting designed to support primary-aged pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
* Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience working with children with SEN (desirable)
* Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
* Be committed to making a positive difference in pupils’ lives
* Work well as part of a close-knit, supportive team
