What You’ll Do:
As a Supply Chain Engineer specialising in Limited Logistic Support Analysis, you will play a crucial role in supporting various UK Programmes. Your responsibilities will include:
*Responding to technical queries related to parts provision and usage on aircraft.
*Reviewing Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) in response to changes in Programme Baselines and advising on spare parts modifications.
*analysing technical documentation to find alternative solutions for long lead time spares orders.
*Collaborating closely with the Product Support (LSA and Technical Publications) team to ensure timely updates to the Aircraft Documentation Set.
*Mentoring team members in effectively utilising technical information.
*Conducting reviews of Maintenance Task Analysis documentation and Vendor data for programme-specific Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential Qualifications:
*Practical experience with Aviation Mechanical/Avionic systems or Synthetic Training Devices.
*Background in Supply Chain Support Engineering or Product Support.
*Knowledge of Logistics Support Analysis.
*Eligibility for UK SC security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
*Understanding of Support Engineering in military environments.
*Familiarity with Aircraft Drawing sets and Technical Drawings.
*Experience in authoring Support Product documentation.
*Degree level education or similar in a relevant Engineering subject is a plus.
*Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.
*Knowledge of international support standards like Def Stan 00-600 and ASD/AIA Suite of S Series ILS Specifications is advantageous.
