Job Title: Maintenance Operative
Location: Stoke on Trent
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £13.20 - £18.20
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours:
*Monday to Friday
*Flexibility with hours between 8 AM and 6 PM
Please note: A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out refurbishment work in properties, including carpentry, plumbing, and patch plastering.
*Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure facilities remain in top condition.
*Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, showcasing your problem-solving skills.
*Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance checks to avoid future issues.
*Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all.
Requirements:
*Valid driving licence is a must.
*Experience in plastering (bonding & skimming), fire door installation and adjustment, kitchen installation (including plumbing), gardening (strimming, mowing, hedge cutting), and bathroom installation (including plumbing).
*Previous maintenance experience is a plus!
*Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
