Job Description:
Front of House & LRC Lead (Maternity Cover)
*Annual Salary: £40,000
*Location: Cross college working at all sites required
*Job Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover until 28th February 2027
We are seeking a dedicated Front of House & LRC Lead to manage the delivery of frontline services for students, from the first point of enquiry through to enrolment and progression. This role is essential in ensuring a high-quality service across all college sites.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Actively participate as a member of the Student Services Team to enhance student application, enrolment, and progression experiences.
*Develop and maintain effective relationships with college staff and external partners to support quality service delivery.
*Monitor and manage the student-focused service across all touchpoints, ensuring efficient operations and meeting set turnaround times.
*Manage service points in the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) and Front of House (FOH) to ensure availability during core hours, open days, and events.
*Develop systems and procedures to ensure students are enrolled in suitable courses and receive necessary support for personal and academic growth.
*Coordinate resource procurement and distribution in line with curriculum needs.
*Work with the Student Services Management team to review and implement effective enrolment and progression procedures.
*Build strong working relationships with departments to align services with their needs within available resources.
*Coordinate evidence gathering and feedback evaluation to measure service impact as part of the college’s quality review process.
*Deliver training to college staff and external partners to uphold high standards of student-centred support.
*Comply with legal and ethical standards, including GDPR, safeguarding, and health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Degree-level education.
*Minimum 18 months of experience in a similar role within a college setting.
*Experience with college systems such as Promonitor/EBS/databases.
*Proven ability to manage enrolment processes and line management in this field.
*Strong leadership skills to motivate staff and deliver positive student experiences.
*Innovative thinking in developing systems and procedures for student support.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*High level of planning, organizational, and IT skills.
*Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles.
