Teaching Assistant - KS1 Bolton Primary School
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with a passion for supporting young learners?
Do you enjoy helping children build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and confidence?
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bolton, seeking a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The Role: * Supporting the class teacher in a KS1 classroom
* Working with small groups and individuals to support phonics, reading, and maths
* Assisting with classroom routines and behaviour management
* Helping to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment
* Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
Ideal Candidate: * Experience working with primary-aged children (school or childcare setting)
* A calm, patient, and encouraging approach
* Confident supporting early learning and phonics
* Able to work effectively as part of a team
* Available for a long-term role
