CNC Milling Setter / OperatorLocation: Clacton
Hours: 39 per week
*Mon–Thurs: 07:30–16:30
*Fri: 07:30–12:30
* (Alternative shift pattern available: Mon–Wed 07:30–18:00, Thurs 07:30–17:00)

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Milling Setter/Operator to become part of our clients busy machine shop. If you take pride in precision engineering and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing*Setting and operating CNC milling machines to deliver high-quality components.
*Working from technical drawings and following company standards.
*Inspecting your own work to ensure accuracy.
*Updating tooling sheets and recording cycle times.
*Supporting colleagues to improve efficiency and maintain a smooth workflow.
*Keeping your work area clean and safe, following all health and safety guidelines.
What We’re Looking For*Solid experience in CNC milling and setting.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*Knowledge of different machines, controls, tools, and materials.
*A proactive team player with a keen eye for detail.
*Previous experience in a similar role is essential; an engineering apprenticeship would be a bonus.
