Teaching Assistant - Hounslow Location: Hounslow, West London
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Term-time
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Hounslow. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and development within a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities * Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one and small group basis
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Supporting pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional learning needs
* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in line with school policies
* Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
* Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation
* Supervising pupils during break, lunch, and transition times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have * Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
* A patient, calm, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Confidence supporting pupils of different ages and abilities
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training provided if required)
* A willingness to learn and adapt within a school environment
