Job Description:
School Receptionist - Ealing Location: Ealing, West London
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Contract: Term-time / Full-time or Part-time
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional School Receptionist to join a welcoming school in Ealing. This is a key front-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and making a positive first impression for pupils, parents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities * Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external professionals
* Managing incoming calls, emails, and visitor sign-in procedures
* Supporting safeguarding procedures, including visitor checks and ID protocols
* Providing administrative support to the school office and senior staff
* Maintaining accurate records and assisting with attendance and pupil data
* Supporting day-to-day school operations in a calm and professional manner
The Ideal Candidate Will Have * Previous reception or administrative experience (school experience desirable)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confidence using office systems and IT (e.g. email, databases, Microsoft Office)
* A calm, professional approach, particularly in a busy school setting
* An understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality (training can be provided)
