Graduate Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Primary Teacher

Academics are working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Slough, seeking enthusiastic and committed Graduate Teaching Assistants to support classroom learning and gain valuable, hands-on experience.
This is an ideal opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, offering full immersion in the school environment, mentorship from experienced staff, and a pathway towards teacher training.
About the Role:
*Support class teachers across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
*Assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons
*Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils
*Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning
*Gain invaluable experience ahead of a PGCE, School Direct or teacher training programme
About You:
*A recent graduate (any subject considered, but core subjects highly desirable)
*A genuine passion for education and child development
*Live in Slough or within commutable distance
*Aspiring to train as a Primary Teacher in the future
*Confident, proactive and willing to learn
*Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, volunteering, summer camps) is advantageous
Location: Slough
Salary: £89-£95 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
